As the nights drift away in sleek silence, And the morning seeps in with no sound, The wind's warm breeze howls like sirens. Snow has melted, not a trace to be found. Winter has gone, and now it is spring, The birds arise, and oh, how they sing. Their whistle, their trill, and their chirp, It is not a secret that they are birds. The sun peeks out from the clouds, Its warm, bright light, hitting the ground. I soak in the sun's rays, As I long for more spring days.
